What does a thriving family look like?  Certainly, there are many answers to this question, but we believe at the heart of a thriving family is a healthy marriage and effective parenting. It is an encouraging home environment where children are flourishing and everyone is feeling emotionally and spiritually fulfilled in each other’s company.

Our marriage and family life is definitely not “Perfect.”  Yet, our home life is characterized by our efforts toward being the best husband/father and wife/mother we can be.  That means equipping ourselves with practical resources, encouraging one another with love when we are not at our best, and sustaining each other in our marriage and parenting journey.

By reading this letter, you are already familiar with our Tuesday Letters of Encouragement and daily thought-provoking quotes. This is just one aspect of OneFamily. Over the past year, we held many different events, classes and workshops to equip, encourage and sustain families like yours.  We’ve been blessed to be a blessing to many families from many different walks of life.  Here are just some of the amazing highlights from this past year:

  • 52 Events, Classes and Workshops held in 2019 (39 in 2018)
  • 2041 Families directly impacted by Events, Classes and Workshops in 2018 (1309 families in 2018)
  • 497,382 total online/social media impact (Impressions/Engagements) from our Daily Quotes and Tuesday Letters (88,698 in 2018).  Current monthly online/social media readership is 38,260 and growing!
  • Marriage Coaching, Training and Certifications to enhance and complement our parenting programs.
    • Certified Marriage Coaches/Mentors and SYMBIS Facilitators – Affiliated with Drs. Les and Leslie Parrott we can provide a comprehensive marriage assessment whether you’re preparing for marriage or want a marriage tune up!
    • Certified PREP 8.0 Instructors – Backed by research from Denver University’s Center for Marital and Family Studies, we are be adding classes and workshops that will focus on providing tools to promote healthy relationship communication.
  • Online Content and Classes to expand our reach to more families.
    • Daily Quote Memes – This summer we significantly enhanced our social media reach by creating memes for our daily quotes.
    • Online Video Conference Classes – We are finishing up our first Toddlerhood Transitions Online class which allows us to equip and encourage more parents outside the Denver area.  We will be expanding this and other classes in 2020!
