OneFamily has partnered with several wonderful organizations to help families succeed in creating a life-giving home environment where marriages become stronger and children are thriving with effective parenting.
What you may not be aware of is that we also reach Spanish speaking communities through UnaFamilia – Spanish is the third most spoken language in the world. Last year we highlighted Ministerio LA (Los Angeles, CA) and our friends the Pulidos. Through their ministry we’ve been able to offer Online Spanish Bilingual classes for the past three years.
This year we highlight our partners in Peru and the Pucusana Project. Alli & Topher Wallace are changing lives in this impoverished coastal community by providing quality education for the children. And also the moms and dads…
Equipping, Encouraging and Sustaining families for their marriage and parenting journey has no boundaries. Whether you are in Colorado, California or Central/South America, marriage and parenting challenges are the same. Culturally they may look and sound different, but at the heart of every family regardless of background, is a mom and dad who want a healthy marriage and to be the best parents they can be for their children.
With OneFamily, we continue to add programs and content. We then duplicate it in Spanish through UnaFamilia on our website and social media platforms. Currently, we are translating and producing Growing Families International parenting printed material into Spanish. Several of the completed course workbooks are available in print, ereader and audiobook through Amazon.
We have been blessed with some grants that have helped us with our OneFamily and UnaFamilia projects. However, we have many significant projects that we cannot complete without additional funding. These projects include producing a podcast (similar to our Tuesday letters) in English and Spanish to increase our OneFamily/UnaFamilia reach.
As a self-funded nonprofit, we rely upon the generous financial support from individual donors like you. During this giving season, we are blessed to have a special donor who is matching all donations, Dollar-for-Dollar, during this year-end donation appeal!
