Over the many years of coaching and mentoring parents, we have observed several common issues that many parents struggle with, which inadvertently undermine their parenting efforts. Typically, these are blind spots that go unnoticed, and we often don’t realize we’re sabotaging our own parenting efforts.
By becoming aware of these common pitfalls and making mindful adjustments, parents can create a more productive and effective parenting environment where behaviors and attitudes improve!
In this one night seminar, we’ll identify and discuss those areas that may or may not be obvious and offer practical ideas for overcoming those common mistakes including:
- Parents not on the same page and overcompensating parenting styles
- Entitled child / Negotiating child
- Giving instructions that lead to compliance
- Choices/Freedoms/Responsibilities
- Creating a Life-Giving home environment
